I am a mathematics/technology teacher at 20k223. I have an excellent attendance record and I have established an excellent rapport with the parents, students, and the Borough Park Community.

iTeach/iLearn Program
Currently, I am the technology coach and the depot manager at Montauk Intermediate School. Montauk is one of 22 schools system wide participating in the iTeach/iLearn program. As Technology coach and depot manager, for the last three years I have been resposible for maintaining and keeping track of every computer in the building. Each teacher and students has a Dell XT or a Lenova X41 computer assigned to them. In addition, every classroom in the building has a functioning smart board. At the start of the program, I participated in training the teachers and ordering the equippment. The goal has been to create a 20th century learning enviornment for our students. In addition, the teachers and myself collaborated with Teadhing Matters on poetry, First Amendment, and projects.
Technology and Finance Superintendent's Program
I created and directed a Superintendent's Program which continued from 1996 to 2002 entitled, "Finance and Technology." For the last three years i served as the depot manager and tech coach for the iTeach/ilearn program. Iteach/Ilearn is a one-to-one laptop program sponsored by the Department of Education. I am the liaison between the school and the Department of Education for the iTeach/iLearn program at Montauk. I have taught various Teacher professional development classes, specialized high school preparation, mathematics classes to ELL students and students with special needs, as well as, Integrated Mathematics regents classes.
During after school programs, I created an I-Squad, which is modeled after the high school mouse squads, and also a robotics team.
